Elections

As a result of the election that concluded on 16 June 2026, the following have been elected for the next four year term:

Ward A - Sarah Bentley-Korff, Mike Davey and Melissa Stevenson.

Ward B - Jono Erwood, Alan Jamieson and Peter McDonald.

General election information

Each election, all current Trustees are required to stand down and an election is held. Nominations for the election are now closed. Eight nominations have been received in Ward A and four in Ward B. Please refer to the Notice Of Day of Election for further details.

The TET elections are independently carried out by Election Services who manage and run the Taranaki Electricity Trust’s election of trustees. Please refer to the documents below for more information on the election.

The conduct of the election is regulated by the Taranaki Electricity Trust Deed of Trust (refer to document below).
