Elections

An election for the six trustees of the Taranaki Electricity Trust will be held on 16 June 2026. NOTE: It is now too late to post off voting papers. To cast a vote now, please do it online, or drop into the TET Office (84 Rata Street, Inglewood) on Friday 12 June between 8.30am and 1.30pm, or on Tuesday 16 June between 9.30am and 12 noon. Each election, all current Trustees are required to stand down and an election is held. Nominations for the election are now closed. Eight nominations have been received in Ward A and four in Ward B. Please refer to the Notice Of Day of Election for further details.

The TET elections are independently carried out by Election Services who manage and run the Taranaki Electricity Trust’s election of trustees. Please refer to the documents below for more information on the election.

The conduct of the election is regulated by the Taranaki Electricity Trust Deed of Trust (refer to document below).
