Grants are now open for education institutions for 2024. Applications close on 11 October 2024. Please refer to the guidelines listed below. Please ensure that the application is endorsed by the Chairman of the BOT.

To ensure that our grants effectively align with our purpose and priorities, we offer the following guidance to assist you in preparing your application.

Our goal is to allocate grant funding strategically, prioritising initiatives with the greatest potential to enhance educational outcomes and support the unique needs of your students and school community. While this approach may result in fewer applications for certain projects, it is intended to support:

  • impactful projects directly linked to positive student growth and experience
  • improved educational outcomes
  • initiatives/projects that align with your school's long term objectives and priorities.

We encourage you to propose projects that offer unique solutions or fill specific gaps in resources or services within your schools. This might include pilot programs, acquiring specialised equipment or technology, or supporting initiatives targeting underserved student populations. We seek applications that demonstrate clear potential for positive impact. Emphasising sustainability in project design will be paramount, ensuring that the benefits of our funding endure beyond the initial grant period.

Here are the key areas we encourage you to focus on:

Project Description and Impact:

Clearly articulate your proposed strategic initiatives, objectives, and intended impact on your target student population.  Highlight the potential impact of your proposed projects and how they align closely with student growth, experience and achievement.

Needs Assessment:

Provide evidence supporting your project, including relevant data identifying specific learning needs and achievement gaps among student groups within your school community.

Project Activities:

Outline your project activities, timelines, deliverables, and how they directly contribute to student growth, achievement, outcomes, and improved learning environments.

Sustainability Plan:

Describe your plan for sustaining the benefits of the initiative beyond the grant period to ensure enduring impact.

Demonstration of Success

Describe how you will know that your initiative/project has been successful and what your measures of success will be.

Alignment with Strategic and/or Annual Plans:

Demonstrate how your proposed initiative aligns with your school's planned activities and overarching strategic goals, particularly those related to addressing student needs.

We hope this guidance will support you with the submission of your application, and aid us in aligning grants with your schools strategic objectives to achieve positive and enduring impact on our students experiences, growth, and achievements.
