Stratford Business Association delivers for its community

A TET grant has helped the Stratford Business Association deliver many positive things in the community

With the support of funding from the Taranaki Electricity Trust, the Stratford Business Association were able to deliver a number activities for the 2022/23 year.

The TET Grant enabled the Stratford Business Association to deliver both community events and business training and development and networking opportunities that support both the Stratford community and the economic development of the district, said Secretary Amy Kingston. Included in the events were AmeriCARna and the Christmas parade.

"Being able to deliver workshops for our business community on a range of topics from Marketing to Health and Safety allow us to help to upskill the capability of our local businesses, at often no cost, right here in Stratford."

The TET funding allowed the Association to maintain its website, where businesses can list their business, as well as monthly networking events that are always well attended. Networking events provide businesses with an opportunity to connect with others and to grow their own professional network.
