Elections

An election for the six trustees of the Taranaki Electricity Trust will be held on 16 June 2026. Each election, all current Trustees are required to stand down and an election is held. Nominations for the election are now open and will close at 12 noon on 24 April 2026.

The TET elections are independently carried out by Election Services who manage and run the Taranaki Electricity Trust’s election of trustees. Please refer to the documents below for more information on the election.

The conduct of the election is regulated by the Taranaki Electricity Trust Deed of Trust (refer to document below).
