TET Stadium Inglewood

The Taranaki Community Stadium Trust received a grant of $218,715.00. Here is what the management team had to say...

The Taranaki Community Stadium Trust were very grateful to have the support of the Taranaki Electricity Trust last year by receiving a $218,715.00 grant. The grant money enabled us to improve our community facilities. The improvements we were able to make will provide long term benefits to the facility and community. We are home to the Taranaki Bulls and Inglewood Rugby Club and last year we hosted the Mitre 10 rugby games as well as numerous local and national athletic and charity events. The grant money enabled us to make improvements to the grandstand, rugby fields, fencing and changing room floors that have improved the players and spectators experience and were in urgent need of repair. A new large screen projector was installed in our conference room. A water blaster to keep the stadium building in good condition and an undercover archgola on our balcony that enables our spectators to enjoy a fantastic view seated or standing in all weather conditions. Without support from funders like TET we simply wouldn’t be able to grow and develop our facility to a level that meets the community’s needs and generate additional revenue streams to ensure our sustainability for years to come.
